Special Education

Our Special Education classes provide individualized support in core subjects like literature and math, using tailored instruction and adaptive resources to meet each student's unique learning needs. Students engage with core literature and CKLA through accessible texts and interactive lessons, building reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. In math they develop foundational skills through hands-on activities and guided practice. When appropriate, students are mainstreamed into general education classes to promote inclusion, social development, and academic growth, with support provided to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
